You know deep within yourself the right path to follow. You know this because everything in your heart yearns for it and bursts with joy at the thought of it.  Maybe you are a creative deep inside. Maybe you love accounting and the way numbers fit together. Maybe you love being a stay at home mom, nurturing others. Maybe adventure is in your soul. Whatever it is embrace it!

Other posts have gone over exercises to help you find that one true path.  I’ve shared several of my techniques for understanding yourself, unblocking yourself and for dancing inside.

Now you are ready to take your bows and to be applauded!  Step forward and have garlands of flowers tossed toward you,

raucous applause and standing ovations. If you are wondering where is the crowd? Stop for a moment: Breathe deep – remind yourself of the joy of your decisions, choose one moment and hold it tight.  Relax into the memory and let yourself sway with the inner dance of joy, light and bliss.

Climb into yourself on stage. You are strong and confident, you are dancing. It may be a soft ballet, or it could be a wild salsa. Your dance is your expression of your choice to be authentic and you are perfect.

Keep dancing but now imagine a second you sitting in the front row.  A You that watches with pride.  Clap wildly, shout out, toss a bouquet or a single rose.

You are your own audience. You are the only one whose opinion really matters.

Appreciate your efforts, what it took to get you to this point. Often my clients have trouble with this.  You like them may still be held back by thoughts of unworthiness, fear or concern about what others are thinking. So many of my clients started there but now full of confidence, self appreciation and are moving forward in lives they now love. Call me if you are having trouble feeling the dance, taking the stage or applauding yourself.

Tapping in to that moment of true heartfelt joy – he rediscovered life. He could play –he could fly and he could crow. An out loud burst of wild abandon and sheer joy.

What is your Happy Thought?

What is the one moment (most of us have several) of pure un-abandoned peace or pleasure.

You will know it because the moment you think of it a smile radiates through you. Starting in your heart; vibrating through your body; turning up your lips and sending pleasure synapses firing throughout your brain.  You radiate – others can see the light.  For a moment everything is right and good in the world. You have found your Inner Perfection.

Tap in – tap in to your heart.  Find that moment and nurture it. Bring it out in difficult times and hold it.  Settle into it and make it a part of you. Play with it. Laugh – Laugh out loud, its okay!!  Your heart is your second brain. It tells you when things are right for you. It tells you when to watch out. And it tells you that you are perfect. You just need a reminder now and then. The reminder, the trigger to become awash in love and strength, is your Happy Thought.

As, I often say God doesn’t make no junk.   The place to begin your personal journey is to unearth your unique brilliance, your passions and your soul’s purpose and fully express your nature, your strengths and unique gifts – out loud!

Any time worries or doubts come. Search your heart for your Happy Thought.  Become a Peter Pan and crow!

We all have cares, stresses and problems. It’s a natural part of life. It is how you manage these challenges that determines your success.  Have you ever met a person who seems to have difficult circumstances.  Perhaps someone is chronically ill or is disfigured; perhaps someone has lost everything they held dear; perhaps they have lived in poverty or amid war.  Yet they appear content, perhaps even happy. Somehow they manage to still see the beauty in life and to meet it with a smile.

How can they do this? The answer is simple. They focus on the positive. They find something to smile about in every moment.  And by finding that positive they charge their hearts and their hearts charge their mind — creating the infinite loop of positive loving energy that effects everyone and everything around them.

You can be this radiating glow. You can begin to shift your own thinking and find joy in every day.

First, put your entire focus on anticipating that whatever you’re concerned about will go well. Your positive expectations about your situation will steer it in the desired direction.

Second, look for the positive.   Every day remind yourself of ten positive things.  They can be little – your cup of coffee was hot. Your child ate all of his dinner.  It doesn’t matter how small because you will have begun to create the positive flow. It will naturally begin to surge and effect every thing you do.

Third, write these positives down.  Holding positive or negative expectations takes the same amount of time and effort. Stop using your journal to vent and turn it into a gratitude journal.  List everything that you are grateful for.

The outcome of your current situation is guaranteed to be good, yet your experience of the process of getting to that point is influenced by what you think will happen.

If you foresee problems, you’ll come across them along the way; on the other hand, if you anticipate harmony, then that’ what you’ll experience. This is the Universal Law of Attraction. Either way, everything is going to turn out just fine – but which path would you prefer to take? Your expectations set your course.

Use this affirmation to stay on course:

“I Do not give in to fears –  I deliver them to the angels.  I know that by doing this the outcomes will be positive”

In our hearts we already know the directions we need to take.  Play with it for a moment. Remember a wonderful time in your life, feel the joy. Re-live the moments. If you need a start: picture a sleeping baby, remember cuddling your pet, or looking in to the eyes of a loved one.

Where do you feel the experience in your body? Your heart.

When you are on the right path, making the right choices your heart will feel warm and full.  Relax into it and allow the knowledge to flow into you.  Use your heart as an inner guide; it is a clear message from your higher power.

Your inner self is wise beyond limits.  When you learn to tap into your inner Guidance, you are tapped into the universal source which has access to all knowledge.  Feel the messages from your higher self, higher power, God.

People who appear to be most brilliant are those who listen to their inner wisdom and put it into action.  They have known in their hearts what is right and listened.

Do you find this difficult? I often work with clients who have to unlearn listening to their head and learn instead to feel their heart messages.  Creating that light for them is my heart’s work.

“I trust my inner knowing, I hold positive expectations about the outcome of the changes that I’m making in my life right now.  It is safe for me to act on my inner wisdom.”

Spiritual RockStar talk radio show host, Dan Hanneman, did an Energy Scan on me, live on his show!  How cool is that?

Dan asked me to be a guest on his show because his work and mine are very complimentary. We both have a deep passon and desire to help Spiritually-Minded Entrepreneurs, who are ready to step into their true power, move forward and take their businesses out into the world in a much bigger way.

While my coaching with brilliant heart-based business owners is based on helping them develop and grow their businesses and define their unique branding message around who they authentically are, Dan works with entrepreneurs who are ready to move forward but may feel somehow stuck or blocked.

Since I was a guest on Dan’s live radio show, he did not do a full “clearing” on me, but he did do the Energy Scan, which took only about 12 minutes! I must admit that I felt vulnerable. Even though the Energy Scan was done over the phone, Dan in his office, and me in mine, I didn’t know what to expect! And I had no idea what Dan might find and report… live on talk radio for all to “see!”

As you know, I am all about helping people awaken to and understand the importance of Transforming Back to Who You Are Born to Be.  I have been helping entrepreneurs transform the way they do business, literally on-the-spot! Unearth Your Authentic Being

We all have that deeply buried ache within, perhaps it is a tiny voice.  For me, it was a tiny fairy-like personality I named “Gracie.”  When we allow our deepest truth to come fully into the world, everything begins to align beautifully! I encourage you to unearth your “Gracie,” or whomever/whatever is deep in your heart, and allow the real You to shine with glory and radiance!

Imagine a silver dollar buried in the mud for years. It is unearth and someone runs pure water over it, gently takes a cloth and wipes it clean, and…. its true brilliance is allowed to shine! You see, its the same with us; When we unearth the deepest part of ourselves which has been buried under so many years of “shoulds,” “ought to’s,” other people’s definition of what’s good and right, and other people’s expectations of us, our best, brightest internal Being radiates! This truly is the most freeing and joyful experience one can have!

I’d like to thank Dan Hanneman for inviting me on the show and doing his Energy Scan.  He helped unearth some parts of me that have been buried and now need to be looked at.  When we know what our shadows are we can face and overcome the challenges they may present.  Then we are able to more easily and freely move toward the brilliant person we know we can be.

Act 2 Reinvent, founded by visionary, Leah Young, and co-owned by a Dream Team of gifted coaches, is a new on-line reality show committed to helping women over 40 step back into their authentic life  and move forward with power and purpose.

We have all had that one single, seemingly simple event, thought or idea transform our lives in an instant.

I remember when I was still working in the corporate sector; you know, Monday through Friday, 8a to 6p, plus commute time!  I had little, or no creative input into my work.  Deep within I had a “knowing,” although it was not a conscious awareness, but that knowing that patiently, yet consistently aches in your soul.  I knew the deeply authentic ”who” of me, the wisdom of my own soul, was aching for more than these less-than inspiring days which I had created for myself.

One day, I came across words spoken ‘many moons’ ago by Chief White Eagle.  I cut out the quote and pinned it to my cubicle wall.  I read that quote every day, many times a day.  But my life literally transformed at the moment I understood the enlightening truth of his message.  It was Chief White Eagle’s inspiration, and vision for all of us, that inspired me to shift my perception and open up to see a never-ending stream of possibility.  

Five months later I left the corporation to create, what turned out to be the 1st of my businesses.   My dream-come-true was not so much in owning my own business, but the freedom, creativity and priceless self-expression that comes from creating my life from the very depth of my own personal wisdom.

The self-development / self-improvement aisles at the Barnes & Noble are overflowing with books by new authors and new subjects every day.  Admittedly, many of those books have found a place in my own ever-expanding personal library.  For me, it has been a passion for years, to read as much as I could on these self-improvement subjects. I love attending workshops and having deep discussions with like-minded friends about life’s purpose.

One of my friends recently commented, “Laurie, you should be perfect by now with all of the self-improvement books you have and workshops you’ve attend!” 

My friend was right; I have spent tons of time and money on learning to develop and improve myself.  So why, after years of reading, studying and practicing self-improvement was I not yet perfect?  Why did I feel as far away from perfect as one can possibly be?  Why was I still buying books thinking, “Ah, this is the one that will change everything for me!”?

What I finally discovered is that I already am, and always was perfect!  The only thing I had to do, before I could develop or improve, was to discover and uncover my unique life’s purpose.  And so I did!  Through two deeply insightful tools, CORE MAP®, by Dr. Sherry Buffington, and Branding With Archetypes®, by Kendall SummerHawk, I have discovered the perfect child I was born to be.

Once I “met” myself it was like Disney’s Tinkerbell in Peter Pan being let out of the box that Captain Hook kept her in.  The transformation from who I was trying to be, into who I was born to be, was amazing both personally and professionally!  My light was free to shine and I was free to fly!

Does that mean that I now do everything perfectly?  Absolutely not!  Just ask my husband, children and friends; they’ll assure you that I still have a lot of development and improvement to do.  (It’s a good thing my bookshelves are full of books for this work.)  But it does mean that everything I do, the decisions and choices I make are all in perfect alignment with who I truly am.  Everything is flowing in one direction.  All of my energy goes into fully and joyfully expressing my unique gifts and passions.  My physical and spiritual goals are in line with who I am from the deepest part of my being.

The freedom to be my authentic self, and the joy of sharing my treasury of gifts with the world are like nothing I had ever imagined possible.  Once you “remember” who you are you can create your world with purpose and allow your unique energy to fully express itself.  You are inspired to transcend helplessness and step into the perfectness of You.

You say you want it, and yet, your actions (or lack thereof) take you in a completely different direction.  Then you say the Universe doesn’t work for you; that you never get what you want.  And you let yourself believe that is the truth.

I believe you know the real truth.  And, I believe you are ready to let yourself  know that truth.  I believe that the pain of hiding your soul in the shadows is no longer tolerable.  I believe YOU are ready to live your authentic life and be YOU!

I am feeling a wealth of excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to express and share Spinning Gold.  When I close my eyes and breathe into these feelings; my belly holds a fire, like the wood-burning stove that heated our kitchen where I grew up.  My heart feels open and I can see, in my mind’s eye, the glow expanding outward.  I take another deeeeeeeeep long breath, and feel warm chills tingling throughout my whole body~

That, to me, is what gratitude and excitement feels like.  A peaceful sense of quiet well-being.  A brief knowing that,  in this moment, everything is as it should be.  In this moment, I am as close to my creator as I possibly can be.  And HERE is the space from which I can co-create anything I truly desire.
