Just like the early explorers, you have been told lies. You have been told mistruths. Just as the world is not round nor are their evil sea creatures lurking at the edges; the tales you have been told about yourself are equally false. You have been told that you can’t or shouldn’t so often that you believe it.

And just like the explorers you feel deep down that it isn’t right; that there must be more. This tug between what your inner messenger is telling you and what the outside world has told you may be pulling you apart. It may be making you feel unbalanced, unhappy or alone.

One of my spiritual teachers says, “Seek to express a particular quality that is a divine expression of your soul.  That will bring you back into balance, will help to set you back on your path and will reveal to you your next steps toward your purpose.”

Can you see that the beginning is finding just one quality, one piece of your soul. Finding one divine expression will help you start to feel right again and it will be the spark you need to continue the journey. When I work with clients who are feeling lost and fearful of the vastness they often need a tool to find that first spark and to start their inner journey to joy.
